A smooth and sweet icing perfect for drizzling or spreading on oatmeal cookies, adding a delightful finishing touch.

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons whole milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and ground cinnamon.
Add the softened unsalted butter to the bowl and mix with a hand mixer or whisk until the mixture is crumbly.
Gradually add the whole milk and vanilla extract while continuing to mix until the icing is smooth and spreadable.
If the icing is too thick, add more milk, one teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
Spread or drizzle the icing over cooled oatmeal cookies using a spoon or piping bag.
Allow the icing to set for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
